Measure the route, not just the room
Record door openings, hallway turns, stairways and any elevator dimensions that affect access. Compare them with the actual furniture and its documented delivery or assembly arrangement. Do not assume a large piece comes apart simply because disassembly would make access easier.
Include the approach outside: parking, paths, gates and terrain may matter. Buildings and communities can have delivery windows or documentation requirements. Share those details before scheduling, especially when an access condition could change the service.
Prepare the destination
Clear the route and decide where the furniture will go. Keep children and pets safely away from the work area. Review any floor-protection or site-preparation requirements in the delivery policy and discuss unusual needs beforehand.
White Glove setup does not include every specialist installation. Arrange appropriate help for anchoring, swing hanging or other work outside the included service. Retain the maker’s instructions and follow them when planning how the finished piece will be used.
Review what arrives
Have the order information available so the delivered items and selected options can be checked. If something appears damaged or incorrect, document it with clear photographs and contact Yoder’s promptly. Follow the actual reporting and delivery instructions rather than relying on a general article for a deadline.
Keep packaging and relevant paperwork as directed while a concern is reviewed. Avoid attempting a repair before receiving guidance. A prepared room, clear access information and a careful review at arrival all support the investment you have made in the furniture—and help the retailer respond effectively if an issue needs attention.
